Debate/Mock Trial

Finding Your Voice

Debate/Mock Trial is a course that prepares students to be more informed and better equipped citizens.  Whether they are interested in the business world, a law career or in simply being able to share their thoughts in a respectful and powerful way, this course gives you the skills and opportunity to be an effective communicator.

Along with learning course material, students speak in front of the class frequently.  Students also practice after school to prepare to compete in debate tournaments.  In the spring semester, the class focuses on learning and practicing the structure of a trial.
